So, if you didn't know it already, fall is my favorite time of the year...except for those allergies....I could go on about those nasty things...but my point is...I LOVE fall! And, based on my not-at-all scientific "survey" conducted during my Fall Open House this year, a lot of you love fall too!
On the home front, my oldest has just started his second year of preschool and is loving it just like he did last year. He has also started playing soccer, which is just about the cutest thing ever...12 little boys running around chasing one ball wearing jerseys that are about 6 sizes too big for them...just darling!! :) And my 2-year old wishes he was in preschool and wishes he was playing soccer too. For any of you that know him, he is definitely 2 going on 12. He makes me laugh out loud every day...one of the joys of having children, I suppose!
Now for shop news...My Fall Open House was a huge success and I want to thank everyone who stopped by. Congrats to our three winners...Eunice, Tracey and Heather! Enjoy!! If you missed the open house, don't worry...there is still new stuff arriving each week as some of my late orders trickle in. We still have many handmade items, more fall door dealies on the way, and lots of pumpkins, candy corns, cats, ghosts, and jack-o's.
New Products at Cranberry Junction
1.Party Platters...oh, my...these are the coolest things I've seen in a while. If you love Fusion glass, but don't like the price of Fusion glass, you have got to come see these glass infused platters. I have a red and white touchdown one, perfect for your football gatherings, one that says BOO!, one that says Celebrate!, and many Holiday ones that will be in the shop for the Holiday season.
2. New potpourri is Harvest Moon...the perfect blend of pumpkin, cinnamon, spices and hot apple pie...a true fall scent
3.Realistic-looking pumpkins...the best quality faux pumpkins that you will ever find...and they are at Cranberry Junction. I have white ones, orange ones, carved ones, and lighted ones. And the best part of all is that these pumpkins will never rot at the end of the season...you can use them year after year. Put one in an old wood bowl with a berry garland draped around it and you have the perfect fall centerpiece for your table. Oh, and these are made in the good ol' USA!
4. Gourmet...I have expanded my gourmet dip line a bit to include some new cheesecake mixes...you've gotta try the new Amaretto Mudslide and Creme Brulee cheesecake mixes. And they are so easy...you just add a block of cream cheese and a tub of cool whip...then spread into a graham cracker crust. People will think you spent hours creating this wonderful cheesecake...feel free at this point, to embellish how much work it was and that you could never possibly give away your secret recipe!! Teehee!!
5.Coming soon...charms!! Yay!!! I have had several requests for these so we will give it a shot and see how it goes. I have some soldered charms on order that should be arriving in the next few weeks. Plus, (as it often happens), I have decided to make some...my husband thinks I'm crazy, but I manage to squeeze it in a few charms at a time here and there. I have been working right now on the glass tile charms in circles, rectangles and squares. I am doing several initial charms along with some cool general designs. I can even do these in photo charms, so let me know if you have a small picture that you would like turned into a charm. And, since I don't have to go through a middleman or supplier, I can pass along the savings to you!
6. New Door Dealies-Look for the new fall door dealies to be popping up soon....We have Jack-O-Lanterns, Ghosts, a new fall oak leaf and a candy corn. Some of them are on the website already. We also have been started making letters or initials. These are great gift ideas as well. There are quite a few of these on our website already as well. Need a fundraiser idea?
